People and Places (South Korea)

PEOPLE AND PLACES

Hey whatsapp guys :) welcome back to my blog. Thank you for coming to my blog. In this time, I want to tell you about "People and Places". Does anyone know the picture above is what? Yapp that's right, it's a traditional South Korea house. Why did I use that picture? Because I will explain the place that I want to visit in the future. I'll explain first of all why I like Korea. Okayyy let's get started.

First, why I like South Korea? Because at first I only liked the BTS group, if you like Korean, of course you know them. And then, I watched a lot of South Korea dramas and from there I began to like Korea and wanted to visit it and if I'm lucky I'll meet my idol.
If you look at the faces of South Koreans they must look similar but their faces are very different. Below are 3 photos of South Koreans. Does it look similar? If you look carefully, their faces are very different. Maybe people say they are similar because they have small eyes and almost the same hair shape, but they are still different.

From my experience meeting Korean people they look very friendly, polite, curious about the culture and food in Indonesia even though we only met at that time. Here are Korean habits that I know of:

1. Koreans usually give greetings at introductions, before meals, after meals, when they say goodbye, when they sleep, etc. by bowing. the head is lowered around 30-60 degrees for 2-3 seconds. This is done when greeting an older person. Expression of apology is also usually accompanied by a bowing motion

2. In daily life, shaking hands is also common among Koreans. Usually older people or higher positions will invite shaking hands first.
Shaking hands is also usually more commonly used by men as greetings.

3. In Korea when you first meet, usually give a greeting followed by introducing yourself. It is not recommended to ask for age when you first meet, because it will be considered impolite. Get used to give additional calls "ssi" which means brothers / sisters to sound more polite. Likewise for older people, you can use the nickname "seonsaengnim" which means teacher.

4. The habit of eating noodles directly from the pan.
(Practicality ~ Most of the pans used are brass pans, which is easier to cool. And if you eat it directly from the pan it will feel like family.

5. The habit of eating "slurps" noodles.

6. The habit of saying "aigoo"

Also, there are some places I want to visit in South Korea:
1. Jeju Island
If you are lovers of Korean drama, of course you know. This island is often a place to shoot dramas & the island is very beautiful.

2. Gyeongbokgung Palace
Gyeongbokgung Palace was the main residence of the royal family during the Joseon Dynasty. Carrying the meaning of 'a place where new kings can enjoy prosperity and many blessings', this palace was the first palace built during the Joseon Dynasty.

3. Seoul Namsan Tower
The most popular landmark is located at the top of Mount Namsan, which is in the center of Seoul. The tower attracts visitors throughout the year because it is famous for its amazing views of Seoul City.

4. Bukchon Hanok Village

Bukchon Hanok Village shows the charm of traditional Korean buildings. As an environment where relatives of the royal family lived in his time, the Hanok here is very majestic. To maximize the visit here, visitors are advised to rent traditional Hanbok clothes in order to feel the traditional atmosphere of Korea

And there are still many good tourist attractions in Korea, hopefully one day I can go to Korea 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
